Does your day care provider tell you if your child misbehaves?

Just curious, to all you parents with children in day care; does it ever come up if your child has a certain "issue" such as trouble sharing? A, for lack of a better word, friend, is falling back on "day care never says anything" when I addressed problems I've observed with his daughter, so I was just wondering if day care ever says anything to any parent, or if its maybe only for huge things like biting or something.
