Is it okay for 19 year old to go out with 17 year old ?

We have been talking for a month now and i really like her, she actually turns 17 in 3 months. But her parents seem to be ok with her hanging out with me. And when I thought about stopping our relationship she was totally cool about it and did not made it akward at all. So now I'm really lost. I have no idea what to do. What is the worst that can happen in califronia ?
