Am I a horrible daughter? I need parents opinions?

Im 13. I ride the bus home everyday after school, and my mom always texts me about 5 times "Hi :*" And Im just kinda sittin there like "...?" and then she keeps sending them with different smileys, I mean like..it's just kind of weird, you know what I mean? So I tried to as nicely as I can ask her this, "Hey mom, on the bus i've been getting about 5 or 6 of your texts saying hi..can you please stop and only send one? Because I do get them, I just may not always reply and they fill up my inbox quick" So she got all pissed off and left the room. I feel really guilty, am I a bad daughter? I feel really really bad :( My moms sitting on the couch right now with her pouty face on and looking all sad, should i apologize?
