How will this play out with the religious right wing zealots?

I am somewhat afraid that as you felt that I couldn't ask an intelligent question that you may feel that I am incapable of an intelligent answer but here goes. Two of my Godson's are gay, they have been in monogamous relationships with their partners for many years. They are kind, loving, intelligent, friendly guys as are their partners and their Republican Christian Aunt loves them very much. While it is not the life style that I would have chosen for them it is the lifestyle that they have chosen. I love them and would never turn my back on them. So if McCain has gay backers so be it, this is one Christian woman who won't be appalled at the idea.
