What aspects of myself should i improve to become a succesful heir and businessman?

im just starting college. my mother is the boss of one of the biggest business fair/exhibition company in eurasia. she is 58 now(got married late) and getting old and tired so i ume that i will take over it in i think 7-9 years and i also dream of widening the company to more sectors such as construction, packaged food production etc. etc. in a long period of time... what should i improve of myself to become a good and dedicated boss?? im a lazy that goes to bed at 6 am and skips lessons for playstation, and i sincerely(and seriously) want to get out of this. tell me not only how to get out of this but please, also tell me what are the bricks i should put on my wall of knowledge/experience?
