What are some unique and maybe well paying jobs / careers for thrill seekers?

I'm looking for a better answer than cop / fireman / swat / blah blah blah. I'm already a Soldier so that is out as well. I'm looking for something to start working toward for after I leave the military. I love being a paratrooper and would love a job as a skydiving instructor, unfortunately this doesn't pay well. I saw a TV show once about the people who check the bolts on the roller coasters every day. This is a job I haven't found any information on, but obviously they have an intense job considering this takes them high in the air at times. I want to be able to skydive on the weekends and maybe still instruct as well. What are some jobs that would allow me to pursue this side career but still be interesting enough to keep me occupied during the weekdays. What are your suggestions? Or maybe what are some careers you would find interesting? Thanks!
