The UCMJ, which is Non-judicial punishment, will not reinstate a service member to active status, however, JAG, through that service member's branch can and will call that person back to face a court martial. It depends on the crime, jurisdiction of said offense, and agreements that the military and the civilian authorities make. Examples: A retired E8 was recalled to active to be tried for murder at Fort Bragg, late last year. He had already been tried in a civilian court of law, however, with new DNA technology, more evidence had been gathered, and he faced a Court-Martial from the military side. In addition, the former SPC from 101st AIRBORNE, is/was being tried as a civilian in Federal court for the and murder of an Iraqi girl. The military chose to allow the Federal court system to try this case. My guess on that, would be because the Federal court system would impose stiffer punishment than the military court; however, life in prison is life in prison.

My son won't sleep in his crib?

My son is 18 months old and i'm now trying to get him to sleep in his crib. Yes I know I shouldn't have let him sleep with me to begin with but because he had acid reflux and he was colicky when he was small it was so hard to even put him down that I was feeling fatigue all the time and his pediatrician advised me I need to be healthy and in functional condition to take care of him so if he will sleep when with me do it. Yes I let it go on too long and i've been criticized enough for it and I fully acknowledge my wrong. My question is how do I get him to sleep in his crib?? I tried last night but he cried bloody murder for and hour and it broke my heart and couldn't let it go on any longer. I even laid beside the crib and tried leaving the room and still he sobbed. Why would my husban lie about his entire past?

My husban is given me the creepin willies. He made up his entire past. Up until the other day I thought he grew up severly mentally retarded until age 14 when he fell into a ravine and damaged his skull. The physical injuries he sustained from that fall supposedly jarred his brain into a more normal functioning state, rendering him not only no longer retarded but quite intelligent. I believed that story for the last 7 years. I told friends and family about it. We told our children about it. I was asking for his medical history because he is having a skin reduction around his bulb and he left me to fill out the forms. When he was talking to teh doctor I brought up his past and the doctor was very congfused. My husban just said, 'she's making that up. it hasn't happened'. I was so embared! But anything that took place before high school means nothing to colleges. You need to keep up the participation in clubs, etc during high school. Really, they care more about your GPA and your ACT/SAT scores. You do need extracurriculars, but not that many. Just 3-4 good ones and a few leadership positions.

Under what cirstances can a prosecutor "amend" a criminal charge?

I went to court today to represent myself in a cl c misdemeanor charge of intoxication. I live in Utah. I did my research well and found numerous examples of both case law which proved that the prosecution had insufficient evidence to meet the necessary standard for a guilty verdict. I spent about a half an hour talk this over with the prosecutor before the trial was to begin. I had him worried and he called his law partner and a drug recognition expert and had a meeting with them. After about 20 minutes the prosecutor informed me that they were going to amend the charge or citation (I forget which they said) from "public intoxication" to "abuse of psychoactive chemical solvent", which is a cl b misdemeanor. I know that the reason he did this was to take away all the ground I had for the original charge and to try to intimidate me into a guilty plea. Anyway, I don't understand if this is allowed seeing as there was no new evidence or anything. The prosecutor said I had no say in the matter (which makes sense) but when we went before the judge, he told him that I had been given the choice and agreed. I objected ad the judge agreed to postpone trial to a later date so I could prepare a defense. I think this new charge isn't even as applicable in this particular case. Thoughts? Suggestions? Was the prosecutor able to do that?

Can you use a tenor guitar (4 strings) like a 6 string?

I know they are generally tuned differently because they aren't used for pop/country style music, usually folkier banjo-ie music right? Does this mean they aren't shaped like a normal 6 string guitar? So if you tuned a tenor guitar like a 6 string, forgetting the bottom two strings ( so it would be DGBA) would it sound like a normal guitar? And then you would only have to use four strings instead of 6 making it ultimately easier to play guitar?

Negotiating with auto insurance co?

I was rear-ended in my 10 year old car while stopped at a traffic light. The insurance co says my car is totalled and is offering me a sum which will not allow me to purchase a comparable vehicle (my car had v low mileage for its age and we had just put $1400 of repairs into it). The insurance co won't take into account the cost of the repairs b/c they say "maintenance is a part of owning a vehicle." But my point is, we put all the $$ into the car to keep in running and dependable for a long time - now all they're willing to give me is enough to buy a 10 year old car that IS a 10 year old car (i.e.: not well repaired - at least not for what they're offering me). Do I have any room for negotiation? And if so, what's the process? I've never been in an accident before so this is all new to me. Forget about the reccession and go for your dreams. We will definitely not be in a recession in 5 years and the economy will be on an up again. It is just a trade cycle where sometimes there are peaks and sometimes booms. So dont worry about it. Anyway we will always need architects, you could get a job in another country that has not been hit as hard with the recession and I am pretty sure it will still be a well paid job. VERY unsocial robo hamster?

I have a robo hamster that is about a year old, more or less. She completely hates me. Every time my hand goes in the cage, she screeches until it is removed. House wiring-white nuetral has 120v?

My friend flipped a switch and a bulb blew out. With a new bulb it still won't work. Several other lights are now out on this floor. The breaker never went off and I replaced it with a new one still no lights. I pulled the cover on the switch /outlet and there is 120 on two white neutrals tied to a lug on the switch. A black wire on the left side off the switch has 120 all the time, on the right side the 2cnd black has zero when the switch is off and 120 when in the on position. Any ideas what is wrong? The house is from 1960. My friend and electrician says the white shouldn't have 120

OK, we are planning to cut a p through with a bar in the wall between our dining room and kitchen. On the dining room side the walls are drywall; on the kitchen side they are wood paneling. We would like the interior of the p through area to be drywall but we unsure how the drywall of the interior could meet the paneling in the kitchen. Could we just tape and mud the corner like we will on the dining room side? The alternative is to just use wood trim but we would really prefer the smooth look of drywall. Overprotective brother and his insane reactions?

Okay this is the story... My older brother is in the mlitary and a few weeks ago he brought his friends home to visit for a while and I really hit it off with one of the guys. This lead to me and the friend breaking up and i talked to my brother again. he said that he had every right to do what he did and that i was just a crazy *****. I told him to stop acting like a girl and forgive his friend and he said that he 'cant look at either of us the same anymore' because i was some 'cheap slut' and his friend was 'a MF'. But as i said earlier, his friend and i never even held hands or anything! did i do something wrong, and if not how do i deal with my brother? He has always been my idol but im starting to doubt my judgement because of this situation.

Ok, so as a teen, yes we are prone to bad skin, but there is a select group that seem unfaised by it. How can you get flawless skin as a teen? How can I get the best out of my workout (lifting weights)?

I usually workout at least 3 times a week. First, I do bench press, 2 sets more than 10 reps of 90 lbs, 105, and 115. After that I do curls using the bar, 5 sets, and usually 10 repetitions. After, I do incline bench press using dumbbells and decline using barbells. I'm not really happy of what I'm seeing right now. There's an improvement but I want to achieve my maximum when I lift weights. Also, I usually do the same things when I go workout. So are there any tips from you guys out there? Should I do pyramids, drop sets, what kinds of workouts with free weights should I try? I'm 15 year old btw, 150 pounds and 5'7". Thanks.

Less base from aftermarket speakers than factory speakers?

I have a 2007 honda civic EX. It has the factory head unit (350 watts) and 7 speakers; 2 in front, 2 in middle, and 3 in the back (1 is a subwoofer right under my rear windshield), and they are all factory speakers. I replaced the front two factory speakers with infinity kappa 52.9i speakers, hoping to get better sound in low and high frequencies. Once I installed them, the high frequencies were much better but more than half of my cars base was gone, because the factory speakers that were in there produced most of the cars base (and it was a lot of base, more than the subwoofer in the back) so I put the factory speakers back in. So basically, I am still looking for replacement speakers to get better high frequences like the infiniti's did, but ALSO to keep that base or make it even better. Which speakers should I go with? Also, I think I might have lost base because the infiniti's were only 5 1/4" while the factory speakers were 6 1/2" and they didn't have a tweeter sticking out like the infinitis did, instead, it is just one flat surface, just like a subwoofer, although it did produce high frequencies such as vocals and acoustics.

Is it safe for my puppy to wear dog shirts?

I have a five month old Dorkie and I live in San Fran, Cali and it's getting super cold lately. Most of the beads are the cheap plastic circles available at any store. They are about the size of a pen in diameter. There are many other varieties, different shapes and sizes as well. Sugar Gliders Noise Meaning?

We have three sugar gliders yesterday and we did research on how to raise them. We know they eat fruit, like puzzles, active at night but I can't find anything about what the noises they make mean. Worn piston rings or stuck piston or neither?

i did a compression check a couple days ago and found a 50 psi in cylinder 3.
